As a Christian, as I sit before my troubles and the griefs and pains of this world, I fall silent. With this my tears of grief…… My friend, Jill is a pastor’s wife asked me to look up ISAIAH 63:9
“In all their distress, he too was distressed,
And the angel of his presence saved them.”
There is nothing I can do for the hurting people, but pray. Poetry? Let it course down my face in tears and let my hands and eyes be lifted up to the God who is able to answer the cries of our spirit.
I cannot write today. My tears fall into God’s bottle and He will bring healing and hope to the students and faculty of Virginia Tech. He will end the war and He will change hearts and minds and save souls. Come, Holy Spirit, Come Lord Jesus, Our Father in Heaven, send forth the angels of your holy presence, dispatch them, I pray. My pen lies bleeding on the ground with my heart.
